Mr. Lyle
Mr. Lyle is a mysterious and powerful member of “The
Centre” who took over the Chairman's duties during Mr. Parker's absence.
Lyle was one of Raines' projects. He lived with the Bowman and was named
Bobby. Since he was a teenager, Lyle has been accused of horrible
crimes, such as escaping and forge his own death, decapitating his best
friend.
His means are often dangerous and ruthless. Mr. Lyle found trouble
following the sale of Centre services to the Yakuza, a Japanese crime
organization. He has since disappeared from day-to-day Centre business.
Mr. Lyle is still on the loose -- thumbless and recovering from a
shotgun wound to the shoulder.
It was revealed that he is also one of the seven Pretenders from the red
files and is Miss Parker's twin brother.
He was last spotted after he shot and killed Jarod's brother Kyle, but
was brought in by Mr. Parker in the 3rd season premiere.
Lyle was seen crying when he saw his and Miss Parker's birth, and tried
to reveal himself as a new man, but that was when we found out that he
as a thing with Oriental women, what may be because of his problems with
that civilization. It seems that he marries them and later on he kills
them.
When Miss Parker informed that she was leaving The Centre, Lyle
supported her, but it was him who left the gun in her house.
After we discover that he is Miss Parker's twin brother, Lyle got back
to Jarod's pursuit, and when Brigitte hires Mr. Lee, Lyle is kidnapped
by his secretary, Anna. He was obligated to tell what happened in the
day he killed Kyle.
Recently, Lyle has been doing some business with a Cambodian colonel and
we discovered that he has a tattoo - a snake eating its own tail. That
tattoo may mean cannibalism but, personally, I think he only got the
tattoo to get in the group. Either way, the tattoo intimidates his
partners and even his sister.
Lyle has some problems with Jarod, always did, specially since Kyle's
death. However, every time they met, Jarod is never capable of killing
him. One of his first confrontations was when Lyle decided that he was
taking him back to The Centre, so he kidnapped him and also Miss Parker.
In order to protect his brother, Kyle ended up dead.
Later, Lyle kidnapped Sydney's son, Nicholas, also to attract Jarod and
take him back. But his plans didn't work out and Lyle ended up on his
knees pleading for his life.
In the fourth Season, Jarod kidnaps Lyle and threatens to kill him (once
more) and kidnaps Miss Parker later. Jarod has been putting them in some
situations that may prove how much they trust each other.
Lyle was also involved with Brigitte and when she gets pregnant, is left
in doubt the identity of the baby's father.
Lyle is trying to get to the top of The Centre and he's going to do
whatever it needs. He is now involved with Project Mirage and "7677".
