The episode begins with Jarod watching a contest on TV and, then, he is doing bungee-jumping.

Next, Miss Parker, Sydney and Broots go to Jarod's apartment and they talk with his landlord. Going through his stuff, Sydney finds a series of things that makes him think that Jarod is obsessed with risk. But they also find games.

Jarod is now working as a doctor. In the hospital, Jarod discusses the situation of a patient with another doctor. Apparently, the patient was bungee-jumping, but this went wrong. However, glass was found in his hair and they don't know why. The patient is in coma. In his bedroom, Jarod finds Tony's mother. She tells him that he was looking for his father and that now also his sister is missing. Tony's mother says that he used to go with one of his friends, Zed, to Willow Ridge, to race with their motorcycles. Shortly after, Jarod is driving a motorcycle and racing against another driver, which he finds out to be a girl. She tells him her name is Shea and, because her motorcycle won't start, Jarod gives her a lift.

At The Centre, Miss Parker, Sydney and Broots are looking at Jarod's books, when Lyle arrives, saying that it looks like Jarod is rejuvenating. Lyle goes on to say that he rejuvenates his soul by going back to nature, what surprises Miss Parker (in fact, she is surprised to find out he has a soul). He leaves them and Broots shows up, saying that they just received something from Jarod. Jarod sent them 3 large boxes with the numbers 1, 2 and 3, and with Jarod's photo next to them (it says "Time for my big deal of the day"). They are able to open the first door, but the next ones will open themselves. Therefore, they find a large fortune cookie inside the first door. Inside it, there's a bill from the restaurant "The Hidden Truth", as well as the name of the waitress, May Lin.

When he is leaving Shea, Jarod is introduced to Zed. Wanting to test Jarod, Zed races against him on the road. The test consists in seeing who gives up first. Despite Jarod being the one to quit, Zed is impressed. Later on, in a party given by Zed, Jarod speaks with Shea about Tony, but she only tells him that he had an hazard with the jump. Zed defies Jarod again. This time, they walk on hot stones. Not happy with this, Jarod holds one of the stones in his hand and keeps it there for a long time.

Back at The Centre, Broots is giving the lab results to Miss Parker. He says that there are only fingerprints of May Lin and that she is gone. Meanwhile, the second door open. On a TV, there is a contest and Jarod is the host. He says that he is going to give a clue to Miss Parker to solve and that the prize is a trip to the beautiful "Cabins O'Love". The clue is "the hidden truth may be missing, but you won't find it until you claim your prize", which means that May Lin is missing and that Miss Parker will know more when she goes to the "Cabins O'Love".

In the hospital, Jarod discovers a paper that was with Tony's wallet, and that in that paper was the name of a hot-dog's seller. Jarod goes to talk with the man and he says that a group jumped from one building to another to stole some rare coins. Later on, Jarod finds those same stolen coins. Shea comes in and informs Jarod that he will only be part of the group when Zed asks him to a test. In this moment, Zed arrives and challenges him. Consequently, Jarod is tied up to a chair, near the pool. The goal is that Jarod can get the key, untie himself and return to surface. Jarod is in the water, but Zed only throws him the key some moments later and because Shea insists so. Jarod is able to get out of the chains and is included in the group.

Miss Parker is at the "Cabins O'Love". Speaking with the landlord, she discovers that May Lin left without paying the rent and without anything.

Jarod speaks with Shea and tells her that he knows she's Tony's sister and that her name is Kerry. She tells him that her brother started hanging out with Zed because he told him he knew where their father was. They learn, later, that their father was already dead since 1992. Then, she says that Tony was going to confront Zed, but that he had the accident. She thinks that Zed has something to do with the accident and is intended to prove it.

Door number 3 is opened. Inside there is a shovel and a paper with the address "23504 Blythe Street, Blue Cove, Delaware", that Miss Parker says it belongs to Lyle.

Zed wants to rob a house and uses Shea to do it (as her test). Despite Jarod thinks she is not ready, Shea gets in the house. Zed calls the Security, but Jarod terminates the call and shoots 3 times, what alerts the dogs in the neighborhood. Jarod goes after Shea. When he finds her, he has to carry her to the car, because she is hurt. Although, she has the plans. The police arrives and Jarod is shot in the arm. After going through the plans, Jarod returns to the hospital, and without knowing, JoJo is following him.

Jarod speaks with Shea and tells her that she has to go, because Zed is going to use her in the robbery. When they are almost leaving, Zed shows up and takes them with him. Jarod is dropped in the pool, again, but he manages to surface, while the other go away.

Miss Parker Sydney and Broots arrive to Lyle's apartment. Sydney finds an expense report, and there they find several payments to the restaurant "The Hidden Truth", as well as to the "Cabins O'Love" and women products. Then, they find a secret door inside a closet. The door leads them to a replica of the shed where Mr. Bowman used to lock Lyle when he was a child. Apparently, Lyle is sleeping in there, because it's the only place where he feels safe, and there is where he is also torturing the women.

In the place Zed wants to steal, two of his friends are inside the vault taking the money, but when they try to leave, they are locked. Jarod shows up and tells Kerry to go to her mother, while he adjusts some things with Zed. Later on, Zed is hanging head down on a bridge. Zed confesses his crimes, fearing that Jarod makes him jump with a rope similar to the one Tony used. But, after all, the rope doesn't break and nothing happens to Zed.

At The Centre, Lyle returns from his camp trip. He is surprised to find the doors Jarod has sent and asks if they found anything on his personality. Sydney answers him that they didn't find anything on his. Lyle is in a very good mood and doesn't notice the discomfort of the three, however, he recommends the same thing that he did to them. Jarod calls Miss Parker, saying that one of them has to stop Mr. Lyle, and she assures him that she is going to keep an eye on him.

Jarod looks one last time to Tony with his mother and sister, takes off his doctor's coat and leaves the hospital.
